Hi all,

I was just looking at my fish today while feeding and it might just be normal but my giant danios stomach area looks abit bigger or is it normal as it is a giant danio and maybe she/he is just getting bigger?
Heres a short video-

Is this danio eating a lot of the food you add to the tank?

Does it regularly poo? If not, this might suggest constipation.

Another possibility is that it is a female that is heavily full of eggs.

Thanks for your reply, yep my danio (named pearl) does eat quite abit when its feeding time (only once in the day), I think she/he does regularly poo, though i do think she/he is actually a she because the females I believe tend to be more thicker then males.. is it possible she has eggs?
Feeding and swimming is all normal, my giant danio 'pearl' was tiny when I first got her.. hope she's okay..
