• 2 aquaria (aquariums?) One with cover and light 10"deep x 12"tall x

I saw this last week and thought I would thrown in my $.02. I got this tank and all the goodies you see on FreeCycle yesterday. My wife has been in the Richmond FreeCycle for months.
Here is a picture of the tank, I have lots to do before I finish. If someone in the Richmond, VA area is interested in Plecos let me know, I have two that are about 9" looking for a good home. I'll post on the swap board also.

I had alook but does it load loads of AOL rubbish on your PC?

I hate AOL and freeserve and stuff like that, they are sooooo like a viruses to me so normally wont touch them. Before you know it you've got toolbars and pop-up blockers and email accounts and all sorts loaded on or constantly begging for attention.

basically, is it a clean thing or will I get AOL'ed.

I didn't have any stupid stuff jump on for the ride when I joined up, but I've got Norton, Ad-Aware, Spybot, SpywareBlaster, McAfee Avert Stinger and a host of other guardians at my gates so maybe I'm not the average. or maybe I am.

how big is it? what kind of condition is it in?

Yes I really got it on freecycle. The tank is 55 gallons, dual bio filters, heater, all the decorations you saw, with the stand. It is in great condition. The people who gave it to me have 3 or 4 little children. The babies are twins and her husband broke his hand two months ago, they couldn't keep up with it so they gave it to us. My wife asked for a tank a few weeks ago, she waited for two weeks before we were offered this.
BTW I gave away a car that needed a radiator.
You won't get anything on your computer from Freecycle. My wife and I use Mandrake Linux so AOL won't even work on our computers. There is nothing to install, you register and emails are sent to you. You check the emails and respond to anything you are interested in. The "higher" purpose of the group is to "share the wealth" as I undestand it. If I have something I no longer want or need, I have options of what to do with it. I can store it somewhere, throw it in the trash, try to sell it somewhere, or give it to someone who can use it. I gave the car away because I no longer needed it and it was costing me to keep insurance, registration and taxes on it. In Virginia we pay property taxes every year on our cars, motorcycles, boats, campers, etc. It was very old, not worth very much money and easier to give it away than try and fix it then sell it. Someone who needed a car badly got a car cheap.

What a great site. Where was that link when my fridge went Kaputz. I might have found one real quick on there instead of all my food going bad while I waited a week for delivery of the new one. What is with fridges taking a week to show up anyway? Nobody goes fridge shopping until the one at home stops working. Duh!
