The flicking can sometimes be due to massive water changes like you did a week ago, as the fresh water has significant chemical differences to the water in already in your tank.

Did you clean the filters in tank water or untreated tap water? The latter's chlorine would kill bacteria, while excessive rinsing and changing "rocks" (filter media like substrat pro?) will remove a lot of the colony.

I think you need to treat the situation as a "fish in cycling" scenario. You need to get some more conditioner ASAP (Seachem Prime costs less long term, only needs 5ml per 200l, but that may not be available to you immediately, costs ~£12 on Ebay).
If you have enough "fish-only" containers, you could fill them with water tonight and the chlorine will naturally dissipate over 24 hours, allowing you to do a water change tomorrow night.
Have you got another tank of your own or a friend who could give you either some muture media or even a filter you can add?
Do not feed the fish until you can do a safe water change.
