well here goes nothing

I am in the processes of upgrading my Rio 180 to a Rio 300 and looking to go over the American cichlids

so lets start................

Equipment list as follows:

Rio 300 with cabinet in beach
Ehiem Pro 2 2028
TMC 400 U.V. (unsure wether i am going to install this yet)
Xl juwel Background
4 juwel terracing pieces 3 A's and 1 B

First job was to get it from the car into the house what was a mission and a half. Once In the cabinet got built (gauwd bless the battery drill) then un box the tank and get it up on the stand. yay this took 2 days :(

Next job was to cut the Juwel jumbo filter box out as iam installing a Ehiem Pro 2 2028 instead on to the next job........................

silicone time !!! time to place the terracing where i want it take it out and silicon it then put them back one at a time..... now the hard part waiting for the silicon to cure...............another 2 days gone :(

Time for some gravel 20kg of pettex lakeland nature gravel just for the front part and 15 kg of dorset pea to back fill behind the terracing the rest will be top up with the pea shingle out of my mature Rio 180

Time for some pics....................................
