Flag Cichlid

are you refering to the festivum,<Mesonauta festivus>if yes there a peaceful cichlid ideal for quite communitys depending on stock and tank size.....shelaghfishface has a couple of these....

if your refering to dwarf flag cichlid,<Laetacara curviceps>then again these are one of the most peaceful cichlid's out there and at 3.5inchs max a great small cichlid to own,but there more sensitive to ph Prefers slightly acidic conditions, in the range 5.5-7.0.

Mesonauta festivus is the one.
what would be the smallest fish they wouldnt try eat or do you know?
thanks

lol I was waiting for your answer to Nellies question :) Was hoping it was the Laetacara as I love them lol.

Still the festivum are nice as well :) From what I have read (thought about these a few times) people compare them to angel fish and some recommend them as an alternative so I would guess to look at comparable tank mates, so avoid things like neons, rummynose etc and go for larger tetras or barbs but avoid things nippy :)

something that will grow biggish that will get on with kribs and angels
and wont eat small fish,
and that isnt a plec,
think i might be asking for too much lol

chocolate cichlid could work, mine is quite placid and got on fine with my male krib<recently gave him away>
however when you say small fish what do you mean by that

give us a full stock or inteaded stock list

Severum they have small mouths for it's size so most small fish will be safe. But most fish will eat smaller fish it all depends on how small.
