Not that anyone cares about my opinion, but that's fine -haha..

If you fight your bettas INTELLIGENTLY, and don't let them get hurt, then I can see why you would do it, but if they have serious fin issues from fighting, I'm not down.

I would never fight any bettas or fish purposely, but everyones different :alien:

I would just hate to see nice plakats like that get hurt.. hopefully you care too! The last thing I would want to see would be my fish hurt.

These are not Plakats though they look like one, they are Fighter Bettas. Their scales are more thicker thicker than Plakats and any other Bettas.

They undergo training and conditioning before the big fight.

Thanks for the concern.

I do not understand how anyone could gather any joy or pride from fighting and killing things...
Traditionally bettas are never fought to the death, just until there is a clear winner... why would someone who spent so much time and effort breeding a champion want to see their fish killed, after all?? I'm not trying to justify it by any means, just pointing out that the death of a fish is never intentional

Personally, I don't really have a huge problem with traditional betta fighting. I'd never do it myself, but I'd never flame someone for doing it either... now if they were fighting pet store bettas, that's a different matter entirely!
Gorgeous fish _cRaCkEr_, thanks for sharing them with us. I'd love to have a pair of fighters myself just because I admire their form... they're all business, no frills :flex:

Indeed.....

Nice fighters you have there! I love that last boy.

It seems like you know what you are doing with the fighting, and you definitely have the right kind of fish, so I'll say best of luck to you!

Oh thanks a lot... I have a friend in Bufallo, NY and I gave him 2 pcs of Fighter Bettas when he visited me and he loves it for real.

Thanks a lot for the comment. I show that your from MD it's a nice place though almost perfect for Bettas.

Thanks,

Brian

Good luck..and I hope no bettas get hurt. Maybe they won't be aggressive anymore and will live in peace with each other inside the tank :D
