SORRY EVERYONE - UR JUST ALL VERY STEROETYPICAL BECAUSE OF MY AGE
I would have to say it is your attitude, your age has nothing to do with it.
That aside I personally do appreciate posts where people are trying to help, which is what your orignal post was. You where trying to make people aware of a product which if it works could be very useful.
The problem is a lot of people that have kept fish for awhile have seen these types of products a LOT and almost all of them have been proven to have little or no effect on tank cycling. I would say that if you want to prove they are working you need to take regular tests of ammonia, nitrite and nitrate to show that there are no spikes and that the ammonia-nitrate cycle is working correctly. You also need to make sure that if the readings are at zero it is because they have been processed and not because they have been chemically "locked". Without hard figures people are going to have a hard time believing it. This is nothing person against you but is just a general lack in faith in these kind of products.
I'm actually cycling a new tank at the moment and have been using a product called JBL Denitrol. It seems to have sped things up a bit over the last time I cycled a similar sized tank but I wouldnt call that conslusive proof.
