Must say, these entries you make degsod, they're kind of like going in for a look at the clock, quite reliable. There's that 0.25 at the 12 and the 0 at the 24, tick, tick, tick.

I know, they are reliably boring, I wish sometimes that the .25 would be .5 or something else (preferably 0)

Yes, you're clearly in your "qualifying week" now and hopefully thinking about the logistics of stocking and switching everything over to having fish. You can just keep dosing ammonia as long as you want if it turns out you have trouble sourcing all the fish right away for the initial stocking.

Am looking at getting Dwarf Puffers, I was reading up about tank mates, Cherry Shrimp and Otto's seem to be the norm. The only problem though is will the water quality be good enough for the shrimp after a the fishless cycle or do I have to stock with something more hardier for a few months?
