Much easier when you don't have fish nipping at you, considering that freaks me out.
I re-scape my gravel after every water change every weekend. My fish love to nip at my arm when I'm doing this and I consider it a fun and positive sign that they are healthy and well-adjusted. None of the ones I have currently can do any serious damage. Thanks guys! I'm still going to keep an eye on it for the next several days. My plants won't be here until Wednesday at the earliest anyway, and I want to plant those before I get fish in there.Much easier when you don't have fish nipping at you, considering that freaks me out.

My LFS was quite intrigued about the fishless cycling process.mancin, May I ask your angel source (I think you mentioned being in the USA) as the traditional angels with a normal stripe pattern like that have seemed difficult to find for some. -wd-Well, I felt pretty comfortable with the way the numbers have been looking, so I went ahead and did a big water change yesterday and got some fish! I have 7 Congo Tetras and 5 Hatchetfish. I have 5 juvenile Angels coming tomorrow. That will be the final stocking for awhile. I'll be adding a few bottom dwellers once my plants have had a chance to root.My LFS was quite intrigued about the fishless cycling process.
You can see updates in my journal.

Thanks mancin. Interesting, almost wonder where in Georgia.. could even think about stopping by down there sometime as I go roughly that way for various things, ha!

.. some town around that direction, with the weird little 3-wheeled Isetta's and stuff! Its much more rare for me to get in the Atlanta direction than closer over to the coast.. oh well, you never know, right?
