Had to go with both. Pleased to says its not that often that it becomes stressful. My son has had his tank for quite a while now & he insisted that it was to be put in his bedroom. It would take me ages to make his bed or to put his laundry away as I would sit & watch the fish for ages. My husband got sweet talked into buying me a tank & I really enjoy every aspect of being a fish keeper. I even look forward to getting up early on a Sunday to clean the tank & do the water change. I have even taken over the running of my sons tank (if he surfaces before midday - or when he stays round his girlfriends house)

It is amazingly theraputic if the fish are healthy and happy, but if one becomes ill or dies, I feel crushed. Kind of like a mother loosing her child (but on a smaller scale of course)

For me It was always Theraputic. I love re-aranging my tanks. I love being creative and comeing up with new arangments time after time.
