Fishies Just Want To Have Fun :)

Hi all,

I was playing with my dog yesterday and thought it would be cooooool to see the fish play some game!!!!!!! you now, something equivalent to hamster wheel, dog toys, poker, video games, etc. There should be something that the fish enjoy doing besides eating, pooping, staring at me, and gulping in water all the time ))) maybe I'm just saying: I like to see my fish doing something that looks fun to ME!

Any ideas??

My guppies seem to chase their own reflection CONSTANTLY, could try putting a small mirror in somewhere?

& my scissortails love diving in and out of the bubbles from the airstone, and swimming against the flow caused by the external filter outlet.

& Cichlids love to dig in sand and pic small snails up and "throw" them around

Some people do train certain fish to do tricks and things for food. I think it takes a while and is quite hard too do. But never the less it is possible

Yeah thats what i was on about, Theres a few video's out there of stuff like this. Its awesome really. Wish i had any idea with that kinda stuff

Thanks for sharing; that's an interesting video, but I don't think buying a kit simply turns a fish into something more interesting. I bet it takes a lot of time and patience.

fish will chase laser pointers around like crazy. i only did it once cuz im not sure if its harmful, point laser at the open gravel and they all buzz towards it lighting fast and will chase it around forever.
