A neighbours tank has just sprung a leak, One Large Clown loach and one large albino Plecostumus need rescuing. At the moment they are in a bucket and we are ringing round fish stores.

If there is anyone who can help in the Luton area please let me know  They will be free gratis of course.

If there is any question, tell him I sent you to him lol.

Typically, not celebrating Easter and working in retail so odd days off, I totally forgot he would be closed today >.< have sent him a message to see if he is even in the area but a chance that he isn't.

Have you anywhere you can keep them over night?

Panic over, Ben got back to me as soon as he got my message and I'm taking them to his shop tomorrow morning as he's away visiting family and friends today, he even offered to travel back today and open up but decided they should be ok in a covered RUB with heater and airline overnight. Wat a nice guy.

I'm looking forward to visiting the shop and meeting the staff. So peace has returned again for Easter.

Many many thanks again and have a happy and peaceful Easter holiday.

Glad you got things sorted :)

Awe he sounds like a lovely guy, looks like they have found a great home and >Pete< has a new store to use :)

Ben is a good guy to be fair :) I mean... all credit to him, he opened up an independent aquatics shop 4 minutes away from P@H coming up 3 years ago so bang in the recession and is still going! He has had to open up the shop to selling pet stuff, household plants and wildlife food to support the aquatics side too but hey, makes shop more interesting imo :)

Wow, he has balls!

I'd love to do something like that, it's a big risk though! I can always dream about it :p

Glad you've got things sorted, Pete. I think my neighbor would just laugh if my tank started to leak

I could i took these off your hand as im in luton, but glad you sorted it.

Thats a shame I could have dropped them of with you and saved you a few Quid.

Well they're with Ben now at Dunstable Aquatics in a large tank with a couple of other Plecs. The Clown loach is georgeous and I would loved to have kept it if I had the right setup. The Plec had a graze on its nose from yesterdays drama but is in good hands now and should be fine.

It was nice to have a bit of fish banter with Ben and look around his great shop, I could easily have come away with half a dozen or so of his young Angel fish but again not compatible with my Guppy set up. I will be going back next week when he's had a delivery of  aquatic plants.
