so i saw this on ebay
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...4355612339&rd=1
and i emailed the seller to tell him nicely that it is not big enough to hold any fish and suggested that he adjust the auction listing to say a fake fish (like one of the plastic ones that hangs from the glass bubble)
and he reported me to ebay as sending a threatening email.
ebay said it wasnt threatening (of course)

i cant imagine anyone would buy one anyways.

good for you. Maybe he'll start making them bigger (that is if it's the same guy as in the video).

That was actually posted in the betta forum a little while back. A couple of us sent him emails and he just ignored everything we said and kept saying it was healthy and the water only needed to be changed every month.
Yeah.. right.

Good on ya for emailing him and telling him what you think (in a nice way :D ) ;)

I just got done watching the instructional video  I don't know about other betta owners but I never handle my bettas like that. Isn't that too rough? Doesn't it cause stress to be dumped through a funnel like that and hit gravel??? :sly:

How can he say the water only needs to be changed every 3-4 weeks? :S

How big is the glass block? In the video it looks to be pretty alright size? :dunno: I think the construction of the glass block is horrible :grr:

yuck, yuck, yuck.
that's nasty.

and how on earth would you clean it properly?

what some people will do for a buck.

DId you see the way he handled the fish?

Would he handle a dog the same way?

*punches him*

OK. I feel better now.

Last time I checked, no bids! Hooray!

i saw those being sold at target a couple years back with baby zebra danios in em. i thoght it was very cool but not even one of those fihs full grown can live comfortably in one -_-

I'm downloading that video now. If I remember rightly, to find out in litres how much a tank contains you do (in cms) length x width x height divided by 1000.

20 x 20 x 7.5 =3000
3000/1000 = 3

=3 litres. 0.6 UK gallons. Not enough for anything.

Can someone confirm/correct my calculation? I can't remember where I saw that...

 He treated that poor betta like s***. Also, is "your regular spring water" distilled water, or just normal chlorine filled water?

!!GEEZ!! My last betta got some nasty finrot after I accidentally let the water go 2 weeks. As Napoleon Dynamite would say, IDIOT

ah, the darker side of ebay ...

Unfortunately this bozo has sold 3 of these freaky tanks already. :(

I'm getting in touch with the buyer. It's the best way.

Hello. I am getting in touch about an item you are bidding on (the glass block fish tank). I realy hope that you are not going to put any fish in there as it would be very bad for them. Tropical fish need a filter, heater and a lot more water. Otherwise they will die very quickly. Coldwater fish cannot live in there because they cause to much waste to be diluted in such a small amount of water and/or need more room to swim. Please imagine a dog in a small cage being filled with toxic gas. It is the same principle. Please do not use this for it's purpose or retract your bid on the grounds of cruelty. It is a rip off, you could get someting far better for fish for the same. The seller has been emailed about this but denies the facts. Please email me should you need any more information. Perhaps also look at fishforums.net where people will be happy to help you come to a decision. Thanks for your time.

Not much more we can do.

i just watched the video clip...wow, wat a dick, i like the idea, its nice, as a couple issues...not that bad, but i am really pissed off at how he man handled that betta -_-
