Fish Ideas For Aquastart 500?

hi, Ive been out of keeping tropicals for couple years now, but fancied getting a small tank and having some tropicals in it.

I recently bought a 2nd hand aquastart 500 which is 65 litres i believe.

comes with fluval one filter, and a fluval heater.

I was planning on putting sand as a substrate, and either going with a siamese fighter and some corys?

Or some corys and another peaceful fish?

Does this sound ok? or does anyone have any recommendations? or have this tank?
