There are golden morphs of Neons too, apparently!

i have seen the neons in my lfs, they aren't those.

did you read the statement at the end of the pic...it states that these are the true x ray tetras. I'm not sure how true that is.

Yeah, not sure what to make of that... It certainly matches up better with the common name, as this morph has a transparent body rather than silvery, but who knows after that!

Are these fish of yours staying low in the water level like X-Rays, Ian?

It looks like a pristella to me too, a newly imported one at that too.

You'll probably find that with a few weeks of good feeds, it will bulk out so much that its body shape changes! We have the same issue with red and black phantoms coming in that kind of shape, takes a while to bulk them up to proper shape!
