Fish Id Please

My brother has a couple of these fish in his tank but has no idea what they are,can anyone help?

possibly a one lined pencilfish

Edit- would help to see the fishes head as pencilfish have very distinct faces- or just google 'One lined Pencilfish' and see if they match

looks similar to the pencil fish but the fin on its back looks different.

I will see if i can get him to send a pic of the whole fish tomorrow,its a bit of a pain having its head missing LOL but he said that was the only pic he could get

It looks a bit like a red fin cigar shark (Leptobarbus hoevenii)

Either that r some kind of rasbora sp. what size is it anyhow?
