Fish For A 7 Gallon

i ended up getting a bettas that was in a tank with some other fish and it was very calm with the other fish. so yeah, nano fish to live with a non agressive betta.

Congrats on the betta - I don't think you'll be disappointed, they are very amusing to watch and become rather friendly :)

Did you get the other fish as well? Just keep an eye out for any trouble if you did!

For a touch of activity in a betta tank, I have used endlers. They work very nicely to liven up a betta tank. In my case it is a 10 gallon.

i havent gotten any other fish but endlers sound good. would a cory or something work as a bottom dweller?
if possible, id like a bottom dweller.

Normal corys would be too big as they need to be kept in groups.

A group of Pygmy Cories or Ottos would be better but bear in mind that they should only go into mature tank.

If you do add any then have a back up plan in case you have to remove them. Some Bettas wont tolerate any kind of tank mate. I had one that happily lived with a group of Cories and another that went for the Ottos so you'll have to watch carefully.

i have tons of space in other tanks if it won't work.
it doesn't need to be a cory, just a bottom dweller. the tank feels weird to me unless i know something is down there.

ok, maybe endlers...

my betta spends enough time near the bottom that i dont need a bottom dweller.

i tried to provide but just anoyed everyone lol
bettas are nice but because you cant keep more than just a betta in one tank i dont think i like em that much
