Fish Compatability

So surfing the web i found this really cool chart on the capatability of fish. I hope i can post external Links, if not i do appologize.

1000% agree - do not follow the advice on that chart

Point one is Africans with Angels will be fine!! Don't think there's any need to read beyond that.

I honestly don't believe anything that simplistic can cover fish comparability. You can't just lump whole continents together and say whether those fish are compatible with others.

To group fish into groups like 'Tetras' or 'Barbs' is not a good way of doing things to say the least, for example, Angelfish and a bigger tetra like Lemon Tetra or Diamond Tetra would 90% of the time be absolutely fine, whereas Angelfish and Neon Tetra are 90% out of the question. Compatibility charts like that aren't worth looking at, do your own research and find out WHY they don't go together, put little rules together like 'Angelfish and small fish won't work' or something like that, you'll be a better fishkeeper for it.

I think it's so vague it's potentially dangerous.

ahhh i can see the potential i guess. are there any other charts out there that are like this but more accurate?

There are no basic answers, it would be better to just come here for fish compatibility.

This is the one I used in the beginning. Don't know if it's any better but it seems to be a bit more accurate.
