Are there any fish or snails good for cleaning glass?

Plecs & apple snails.

Some plecs are better at it than others. Bristlenose plecs are a favourite cleaner

If the tank is smaller than 30 gals then perhaps some ottos would be good for you. They can be delicate for the first few weeks in a new tank though. HTH

Or, you could just go and get yourself one of those pads on a stick that are used for cleaning the glass (not suitable to acrylic).

You can get ones for acrylic cheese, that's why i ended up with my first 30g

u can get mag-floats, which are 2 magnets for both sides of the tank, which will stick opposite each other and can be guided around
