Have to say looking at your sig and owning a 35ltr tank myself. They most that I would risk is your 10 tetra and the hillstream.

Just my opinion, 10 tetras aren't going to produce much waste, In my opinion some people get too hung up on stocking, scrap the rules and calculators, they're a waste of time IMO, stock by eye and water parameters.

There's a pleco, which granted poos a lot, but the concentration of waste is lower, I believe that the Pleco's are heavy ammonia producers idea is false, They eat algae, which are of a lower density than flake food, people throw this statement around but with no proof to back it up?

The loaches, again not much in terms of waste.

The nitrate concentration is a matter of opinion too.

There is a BRISTLENOSE PLEC IN THERE............ a HUGE waste producer.

The stocking calculators are a guide, to help people, no one is staying stick to them exact, but going way beyond the guides is.

You say huge waste producer, but did you actually read my last post? There is nothing to prove that fact, and considering most of the ammonia comes from a fish breathing where does this statement originate from? Plecos eat algae which is a low concentration food, which means they must eat a lot of it for there to be a considerable amount of ammonia, they can poo as much as they wish, but does that mean that the poo is of a high ammonia concentration?
