I am looking into buying a 10 or 15 gallon tank. These are the biggest sizes I can have at school.
I would love to do a planted tank. Preferably a low tech or no CO2 tank. I was looking at different substrates and Eco-Complete looks like a really good purchase. Is this true? are there better alternatives?
I would be adding fish and maybe some invertbrates into this tank. Fish wise I would love to have fancy guppies but I have read that they are genetically weak, have short lifespans, etc. but I have also read that they are an ideal beginner fish. Has anyone had any trouble with them. Not looking to breed. I was also thinking of just doing a small community tank and getting as much diversity as I could.
Any suggestions would be great!
