I see some hypocrisy ! But really, if you do things to contradict the advice you give people then something's not right. So really, what is the point of this thread? Did you want us to respect you because you didn't care what people thought was right or wrong? No one's stopping you from spawning them but wouldn't it be better to not say anything about it if you know people are going to say negative things about your decision

I know they can have up to 500 fry. I have been reading and I do know VT and combtails are hard to find! I am contacting pet stores about it soon

WTF go to any pet shop they have hundreds of VT's you have no idea what your on about you will either end up killing one of your fish or definately the fry once they are born no LFS are going to take up to 500 VT's from an unknown breeder

sorry I was going to say hard to find...homes for. My mistake The spawn is doing well. I put in Royal because he makes huge nests. You Beta just makes tiny ones around the fish bowl edges.

tbh, it's not the nest that counts-it's generally the lines of the betta and how healthy and young it is that matter. When they feel like it they will build as big a nest as they need to. This is if they feel like it. Remember it's not all about nests, but keep us updated, and try to get a microworm or vinegar eel culture started asap.

I feel really bad for FBT, people should just lay off her. This forum has been losing so many members both on this side and in household pets, and i am sure many other sides as well, because people think they know everything about everything and jump down people's throats. Nice.

If she wants to breed, then fine. If you don't agree with it, don't post. It is that simple. To the people who are posting non stop against her - are you going to be directly effected as a result of her breeding? no. Are you going to have to figure out homes for the fry? no. Do does it effect you? No, it doesn't. She came on here for her first spawn, probably thinking to get some help or advice, which is certainly not what she received from anyone.

People need to try to be a little nicer I think.
