Guys just a quick question, as i'm doing a fishless cycle, when would the best time to do the first water change? A big one at the end of the cycle?

Only been going 3 - 4 days so i imagine it will be ok?

You do the 90% water change at the end of the cycle, or if there are any problems along the way that would require the aid of a water change.

Well after a week or so not alot has changed, NO2 is being produced so its happening slowly! Really hope i can get a few in there before xmas

Well Ben, you are on about Day 7, so that would mean only about 63 days to go if your tank turns out to be one of the slower ones to fishless cycle. Maybe you can find somebody with some mature media to spare.

One good thing is that the UK folks do tend to have better luck finding MM I think, even though those roundabouts do tend to slow one down a bit.
