does anyone have 2 Fluval U4 Filters in there tank I was thinking of getting another one but it might look horrible.if so can I see some pictures.

Had,yes, it they are bulky, you could get a couple of big plants to hide each one

You'd probably be better off with an external considering all the room they would take up.

As stated, what size tank are we refering too? i know alot depends on money etc

I have a 180 litre juwel tank. I did have a 205 fuval external filter but it broke.

Same tank as me - just looking at it now I can't imagine having 3 of those beasts in it. The original internal black box takes up enough room and I have an eheim external running as well.

Do you really need a third filter?!

I only have 1 filter fluval u4 series i just wonted to add some more cichlids.

In which case external really is a better route. Might cost more, but better performance.

Eheim 2215, though sometimes I wish I'd gone for the 2217. Having the second internal filter helps tho - if I didn't have it I would definitely have gone for the 2217.

Often find them second hand on ebay or the classifieds forum on here.
