Fifi & Trixi's New Flat Mates Have Moved In

Fifi and Trixi have been settling in pretty well since I had them from Larissa about a week and a half ago.


Their tank has had a new substrate today and a couple of new ornaments. Tomorrow will see the addition of some better plants once the LFS has taken delivery of their weekly stock.


Since the new girls came along this afternoon, Fifi's & Trixi's colours have really grown strong and they are looking pretty amazing now.

The new girls only became available at the LFS today so their finnage is a bit tatty. Shouldn't take them long to grow out nicely

Rosie is actually one of the bigger girls. Plus she is egging up too

And here's Suzie - Finally got her to stay still, for all of a nano second

She's very similar to Annie but her dorsal is more pointed like a shark's and she has stronger vertical bands.

They are lovely, you have an amazing collection there!

Just a quick stoopid question, I saw some female bettas at the lfs last weekend and they were absolutely tiny, not much bigger than my xray tetra, are these very young and how big do they grow?

The girls are only about 1 1/2" max at the mo.


They should get up to about 2" or so fully grown.
