Few Photos Of My Marine Tank

Lovely tank and inhabitants :)

Are you going to add any more fish?

How much maintenance does it take per week?

No that is it in terms of fish stock (they will all get about twice as big as they are now). Will be a lot more corals and inverts going in there though.

Its actually fairly easier to look after with the livestock that I have (lot less then my old high tech planted FW tank).
Feed the fish and shrimp frozen food twice a day - 5 minutes (will an hour after you sit watching them :) ).
Spot feed some of the corals every other day - 5 minutes

Wipe the glass down once a day - 5 minutes
Top up with RO water everyday - 2 minutes

Once every two weeks I do a 10-15% water change. Takes about 5 minutes to mix up the saltwater the day before I do the water change then about 15minutes to do the water change the next day.

Maybe only a couple of hours a week and thats only if you include the feeding. Once I set a skimmer up on it I will have to empty that every couple of days but again only a 5 minute job.

If you get the right stock and set it up right its really fairly easy to keep.

Well I got a couple of new corals over the weekend that are quite pretty so thought I would add the pics here as well :)

I don't know if you still check this thread barney, but this is one of the SW tanks that makes me jealous. If I went SW this is exactly what I would hope for my tank to look like :p, and unless you have already I think you shouldn't add more rock to the middle :D..

Get some ocean rock or coral bones...will look crap for a few months but will soon go brown/purple thats what I did in my 28g Marine tank,I bought about 20KG of Live rock and 15kg of Reef Bones and a few bits of Ocean Rock...after the Coral had grown and the Algae had set in you couldn't tell the difference. plus it looked more full.

As long as you have the recommended mount of LR (as close to 1kg to 1 gallon as possible...although you dont have to be spot on) for filtration, the rest of the rock dont matter.

Reef Bones will basically be Live Rock after its seeded and to a degree Ocean Rock to but not as efficient.

Not to bomb your thread but heres a pic so you can see what I mean...the only bit that stands out is the newer piece of Ocean Rock on the left hand side.
