Female Guppy Not Eating

My Female guppy is not eating. I tried bloodworms and flakes so far and she will just bite into it and spit it back out. She had been pregnant since I got her about a week ago.

Try feeding her peas. Microwave them. Remove the shells, and smoosh them up a bit. She might be constipated and this may relieve that.

How old is the fish? Was she just recently acclimated to the tank? What has she been eating for the last coupke weeks? If she is just constipated peas and veg work very well, banana works best imo. some more information maybe some pics would help

To be honest when any fish stop's eating their is a major problem........

Have you tested your water, if so what was the ammonia, nitrite and nitrate levels?
Think of doing a good water change as well and about the only thing to get a fish to feed again is live foods

You have to act fast as well as if the gut's close up as no food then it can be impossible to get it working again and the fish will starve to death........

I noticed the same thing with my male guppy I've had for under a week. He was picking food up and spitting it out so I tried finely chopped peas and he went for it like mad! And he definitely swallowed some so hopfully peas will sort him out. But I noticed he was only really able to swallow the really small bits of chopped pea.

Have you tried peas yet Yiggy?

she is pregnant??.. coz my mollie was also pregnant when I got her (about a week ago as well) and she stopped eating, as yours she just ate a little and spit it.. i tried with peas as well, which she likes very much, but this time she ate very very little... I was really worried

something else I noticed was that she kept swiming where the others wouldn't bother her.. next thing I know, she was having her babies!!
