To go with my breeding program I have 7 female VTs to choose from for my first attempt. My question is, what should I look for to determine I'm picking the right female to breed? Should I look for the ones that have a big belly of eggs, or the the bossy/shy ones?

I know breeding VT's is not recommended seeing as they're everywhere  . I'll definitely invest in a quality pair of HMs if I'm successful with veils so I gain more experience. I'm also not expecting everything to go smoothly the first time, but I do have a lot of patience and I'm determined to get it right after the first couple attempts!

Thanks in advance :good:

i usually choose the female, thats compatible, like almost the same size, i prefer alittle smaller so the male can have a better time wrapping, the smae colors, or you could mix, what ever you want, and a not too shy one works best, a female thats ready, dances back to the male, and flares.

You'll be very surprised! A breeder on here *and a very good friend* had over 100 fry from her first spawn 75 odd which were male! IMO if your going to to it do it properly 1st time round ;) or atleast CTs *won't break the bank as much so to speak* another friend bred her VTs and is no struggling to sell them
