Only problem is... if the foods are refrozen slowly (like in an average freezer) the ice crystals that form will be comparatively large and could possibly break the cell mebranes of the frozen food, causing the nutrients to leak out. This is why all reputable frozen food companies use flash-freezing techniques.


some companies go to the point in saying dont defrost, feed while frozen to help keep nutrients.
