Fedding Cichlids And Other Catfish Cherry Shrimp?

i thought i might start a shrimp tank then when they breed and i have to many could i use them as food for my SA cichlids and syno's?

the cichlids will certainly eat shrimp i get river shrimp for mine from lfs. altho maybe consider selling the young shrimp ?
