Yeah another Dobie fan  :D
I've had a couple of Dobes in my lifetime. The only thing preventing me from having one again now, is time and space.
Super intelligent dogs. Extremely loyal. Super friendly towards kids. Very protective about it's "pack" - i.e. human companions.

Ok, well, don't even get me started as my undieing passion is DOGS! Especiallt conformation. With the energy, intelegence, love, clowning, and markings of a Dalmatian, you just can't go wrong. I LLOOOOOVEEEEE Them to DEATH! I like livers the best, and plan on breeding them under the kennel name Longfellow after Henry Hadsworth Longfellow, because one of his books gave my mom the idea for my name. Next would be definatly American Staffordshire terriers, blue brindle and white, in"Irish", or "boston" markings. Cosley followed with all the rest of the Mastiffs and bully breeds, including American Pit Bull Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Neapolitan mastiffs, Great Danes, Boxers, cane corsos etc, etc. Here is my dream dog. I would like my foundation dog to be a half brother/ Grandson of Newt, BIS BISS Ch. JLS Just A Fig Newton (L)

Favourite dog I've had is a German Shepherd, here's a couple of pics of me with Kip (all the dogs in my dads side of the family have been called Kip) when I was a youngster

This is why I am not scared of big dogs, he was HUGE.

I also had a Beagle, who was very cute, very naughty and very smart (he could open cupboards and the fridge and help himself :grr: )

I prefer big dogs, like German Shepherds, Rotty's and Newfoundlands, from my experience they tend to be less yappy (they only bark if they need to) and they generally dont need to walk as far, besides I'd look silly walking a little pooch.

The dog I'd love the most, if I had the time to have one is a Rotty, they are so cute  my friend has 2 and they are lovely.

But basically I love all dogs

Papillons or chihuahuas. I've had more Papillons in my life then Chihuahuas... They've been loyal to me, I've gotta be loyal to them. Papillons.

My Papillons:

Bella, she just turned 1 year this month!

Enjoy!

I voted husky. I have one and she is awesome! Doesn't bark, or do that annoying licking thing, very loyal, but not so obediant. Nice dogs though. Here's mine. She is VERY fat right now.

And no, she is not forced to be in that tiny cage. She really likes it, and it is her 'safe' place.

I voted for the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier as that was our second choice and it was on the list!

A piccy of one

I only have experience about german short haired pointer and beauceron. I also have boston terrier puppy but I can't say yet if it will be my favourite breed or not. Beauceron is probably bit nicer than german pointer. German pointer aren't so obedient because it's strong hunting instinct. On the other hand, beauceron is little shy towards strangers and new situations... But both are excellent breeds anyway, someone other can like traits that I don't value.

Here's beuceron

Thapus,

Did you know that the Briard and Beauceron originated from the same dog???? They are very closely related except that one in long haired and one is shorthaired.
