Fave British Comedy

Hahaha, had to bring this back to the top, just discovered Little Britain! MUAHAHAHAH! All you poms must be exactly like them! :shifty:

Fawlty Towers was always a classic however I recently got the dvd of 'Believe Nothing', with Rik Mayall - Excellent british comedy  The New Statesman is also good. :good:

Edit: Dam I just realised how old this post was lol ><

I cannot believe that Open All Hours has not been Mentioned Yet, and The Good Life.

2 of the Best British Comedy's Created and will always stand the test of time.

Also In Sickness and In Health - Although mr Garnett was a Racist, it was done with such Excellent Writing that it always had us crying with laughter.

i only liked little britain for a bit, it's got all a bit boring and predictable for me lately :/ i'll probably be crucified for saying that though as it's a national treasure! hey i don't like catherine tate either though  that stuff's nowhere near as clever as some of the older stuff, it's all just so obvious and blatently done for shock value

I have to agree with you about Catherine Tate. I've tried watching it a couple of times and I just don't find it funny. I thought it was just me but a few people I know feel the same.

if there's really nothing else on and I can't be bothered doing anything but slobbing infront of the telly i'll watch it.... but as we have E4 there's normally a re-run of friends which is inevitably better

Monty Python rules alone at the top in my book. And I can get behind Red Dwarf.

Now maybe I'm just a mad yank, but I am ever so slightly stunned to be the first to mention Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy and Coupling.
