Just noticed you replied about a large 8ft tank.

is it something you plan on doing? what kind of plans would it have?

do you not have room for it now?

do you know where you can get the tank from?

why not do it now??
for the mods, this isn't a personal convo, i am genuinely interested in ideas of larger tanks and plans (as i thought this site was for)

Hi haych, the tank is just way to big for where i am now and i will have to structuring make the next property sound for housing so for now it's easier donr when i move... hopefully soon.

The tank is primarily going to be a ray tank, again not sure which rays yet, will be somethink that will be suited to the tank. Other tank mates maybe an aro and a nice group of silver sharks but i do like that pulcher(sp) dave is thinkign about having (simese tiger fish i think its called?)

The tank will be specially made, i think quotes of about £2000 with stand and hood, not to bad i guess but well worth it for the end result lol.

Will happen, just not entirley sure just when yet

LOL, tbh with a tank that holds 2000ltrs, i wouldnt trust anyone other than a pro to build the tank. These sort of tanks dont come up on ebay unless again there specially made.

This tank comes with tank, hood and cabinet with built in sump, all ready built/drilled and delivered and installed for that price so really isnt to bad tbh.

Its more the room rather than price which will always be the problem lol

so, do you reckon this would be a 99% go ahead when you move?

i could just imagine it;

i walk into the bank, "can i have a loan please".. clerk, "what for miss holland?"... "a mahooosive tank"... i'd be lauged out the bank!!

Nah,I'm the same with the money side, will be alot of saving to justify it but money can be got but room if not there will never be there lol.

Ive always wanted a huge tank but more importantly wanted rays, it may even be a saltwater tank because i would love some sort of shark but i don't think even that size tank would be big enough. Oh and the fact that it cost an absolute fortune to keep lol.

One day it will happen, just finding the right place and the room is the determining factor tbh
