I'm desperate to get one but would like to know what one I should go for. Any recommendations would be helpful.

Cheers

Dan

I've a 125l tank and run a Fluval 305 and not yet has it failed me. Keeps the water beautifully clean too, even when occupied by dirty eating and pooing puffers lol

yep got to agree either the fluval 205 or 305 depending on your budget

I also would recommend the Fluval 205 or 305. You just can't go wrong with them.

If your looking for value for mony you could go for one of the all pond solution range, i just bought the 2000ef pretty good feels quite durable too.

i use Unlmax 250 professional External canister filter Ulta silent no vibration supper effective up to 1000l/h extra large 8l and you can fix in a uv/lamp or a heater and you can use any make of pad filter pad in it to

I would also recommend the Tetratec EX700, its a great filter :good:

I wouldn't suggest the Fluval 205, the 305 definitely but the 205 just didn't have the flow rate I was looking for in my 125l tank.

I now have an APS 1400l/h + UV which is great and keeps my water crystal clear.
