Hi all,

What extension leads/control boxes/timers do you use?

I've always use standard extension leads, but I dont like the idea of so many sockets being near lots and lots of water (and my hands), are there any waterproof control boxes people use/recommend?

I also use timers from places like homebase, but the last 4 i've had have just broken, does anyone know of better quality ones?

Thanks!
Adam

All my tanks are run off of a 4way extension jobby. As for timers, unsure where they're from, but they're only basic ones and i've had no issues.

I just use stuff from wickes, I use the wall mounting holes on the back of the extension lead and put 2 screws in the side panel of the stand to keep the sockets as high as possible and make sure all the cables have drip loops.

Bus Strips.

I mount these above the tanks, if water gets that high I'd better get a boat;

I've got one timer, for my exhaust fan, it's been around forever.

I have just purchased one of these, only came today though so not had chance to connect it yet.
