I'm so jealous! Looks amazing pseud! Those Hygrophilia Corymbosa look awesome, a lot like amazons. Where did u pick them up from?

Thanks guys.

All of those plants except the riccia, glosso and vals came from aquariumplants.com - very generous when you order from them.

You can get a PO4 test kit from petsolutions.com AP brand it is $8.49. I am formulating quite an order myself......

Looks stunning m8, lol wait until the glosso takes hold you'll have a new franchise then. The tank has a much better balance now and looks really healthy.
Keep us posted on how its going (love these journal threads)

I'm very limited to net access at the moment but I've just got time to say "looking wonderful" pseud. Well done mate, I very impressed. How's the EI going?

Thanks guys!..

...but the tank underwent a big overhaul. Basically, I hated the water shoots from the hygro, and the maintainance was a little too much. So I pulled it all out, and the wisteria. now I need to do some more rearranging to get it looking good again, and wait for it to grow out some more... I'll post agian when it's decent enough ;)

Oh, and as for EI I just got my ferts yesterday, so I need to do all the numbers and stuff. Will probably start this weekend.

Ya Buddy!!!

Looks Awesome!!
Look at them plants grow ;)

...oh, and your are more then welcome for the plant, Mon :)
Thanks back at ya for yours!!! Which, btw, is still floating n multiplying B)

Ok, Quick update. Bunch more pictures. A minor re-arranging turned into a major overhaul. I ditched the Hygrophila Polysperma and Difformis. Hated the water shoots. Anyway. Lots of new plants. Excuse the left hand side of the tank, I'm growing out a load of plants before scaping it. The right side is pretty much finished. I just need to wait for the star-grass to fill out so I can trim adn replant and extend it to the left and forward some more. Gotta wait for the ludwigia repens to fill out in the background. At the moment, most of the stems are about 5 inches long, so you can't see them.

The riccia will be going and I'll be replacing it with either glosso or Elatine Triandra which is growing out in the front left corner.

I'm gonna be building a christmas moss wall this week, and getting some more plants also.

The EI dosing is coming along great. Growth is pretty rapid for 2wpg and plant quality has definitely improved. If you aren't dosing ferts, get on it right away! Greg Watson is the man to see.

Hehehe, funny you should mention that.... I'm in nursing school at the moment, and I'm the loudest, most hyper active, ADD person in the class!

WOW that's looking good. When that glosso takes hold it will look amazing ,mind you might loose your riccia the glosso gets pretty invasive.
Hope you have success with the Rotala , i had no luck with it .
keep it goin bud.
