I have a group of Taiwanese Blue Amur (Paracheilognathus himantegus) coming to try... their new home is empty, previously cycled, and is heavily planted, so they will quarantine there... I have 9 coming, going into a 55 gallon...

I had my first encounter with them a few months back and it went flawlessly. The fish came in in great shape.

Looking forward to the updates on this one. They look very Pethia-like, which fills my eye. Are you planning on including freshwater mussels in the set-up?

thier website seems glitchy to me, I click something in the menu, and the menu goes blank, with an X on it... I was able to order these fish, which was good, as they aren't too available elsewhere... but I kind of wanted to wander the live bearer section before completing the order...

bitterling arrived today... 9 in one bag... pretty small fish so likely ok... all arrived alive...communication with aquatic arts was sub par, no confirmation of the order... I wasn't sure the order went through...

So you went for the bitterlings in the end! Are you interested in going the whole nine yards in terms of freshwater mussels and breeding?

Freshwater mussels generally don’t do well in home aquaria. Too much trouble to feed them long term. Also, most species are considered at least vulnerable (not all) and generally discouraged or prohibited.

The anove good comments about this seller made me want to have a look. But in two difference bwrowswers when I cicked on the fish list I could not see below Loaches. Ithe list would not scroll. I think the siite is not working properly so I could not find the species in which I was interested because they would come after loaches on the drop down list.

So I guess they have lost me as a potential customer. :(

I used them once years ago (4? 5?) and was not over joyed. the fishes were alive (mostly cory gold laser (aenus); they were alive but they just didn't look right and i decided there were better places. Would i use them again? I haven't but i suppose if they had something i really wanted i might - the thing is that in addition to not being over joyed with their fishes they don't have anything that would make me look.
