like i posted as a reply to soybean, thinking about some shrimp now, and the tank is fine, the filter is powerful and a rarely have to vacuum the sand bed. the fish arent going to grow much bigger than they are but i think yes corys would be pushing it

I understand what you are saying. The filter being powerful is nice, but is not the only consideration. There are many other things to consider, including how rapidly nitrate rises between water changes. Shrimp are a very good option as they don't add to the bioload. Be sure to get a more sizeable shrimp, Amano for example, so that they don't get picked on by the larger fish.


Also, natural plants are a welcome addition for shrimp. These hold many more places for food for shrimp than fake plants.

already got live plants, they just arent as bushy as I'd like
