If you have it well planted and a good filter I'd do 1 fish per gallon but that's just me I'm sure others have there own ways of doing it to :)

I have a 10 gallon / 40 litre tank, i keep 7 Endlers with lots of shrimps and assassin snails.

Some live plants as well.

I can't believe anyone here would recommend three Endler's to a gallon

I agree, that with small fish like Endler's, one per gallon would be about right.

If this is the 18"x10"x10" tank from your other thread though, that comes out at six gallons, not ten. I would say five or six will fully stock it. You could look at getting some shrimps as well, to add a bit of variety.

Endler's are pretty easy to look after. They would prefer hard water, but my son had some in his Edge and they did fine in our soft water. Make sure you only get males; you don't have room in a tank of that size for fry as well.
