Emergency!!

Hi everyone,
My my mum has swapped banks and they have totally messed her about. They say they have sent the card and pin out but weve been waiting 3weeks and now the electric company are demanding the bill money. Only problem is that we pay by direct debit and now we dont have the card to tell them to take the money out as we arent sure whether shes been payed, We are trying to persuade them to extened our electricity until we have acess to the money, but they dont seem to care. This means i could be going without electricity for a few days maybe even a week or so. How the heck can i keep the tank safe...! I can manage a few hours but days?! Anyone? Please hurry it could be cut off later today unless we can get an extension.

i'm sure if your mum explained to the electric company that the bank has messed her about they would be ok, if not can your mum not get any access to the bank account or send a cheque to the electric company hope you get sorted soon

We already had one extension because setting up the bank was a nightmare also now its just getting the card. Because we dont have the card or number we cant look into see how much money we have in there, If my mums been payed we can pay but we cant find out and cant risk going 100+ overdrawn because the overdrawn charge is horrindus! Waiting for the bank to ring us but they wont rush themselves... College starts soon so i wont be able to keep qxygenating the tank hourly so i dont know what i can do.

If your electric gets cut off go to the lps and get a battery operated air pump and get batteries and then get extra ones in case your electric is off for a week.

Run an outdoor extension cord to the neighbor's place, pay them a few bucks a day.

Phew! Got the bank sorted out just in time, They hadnt even posted the damn thing so its a good job we went up and checked. Bills been payed and lets hope this is the last time ill have to post in the section, Well my own topics anyway.
