I have a few Kuhli's in my African tank, they were there, before this became Africa, they moved into the river rock, and aren't often seen, let alone trying to remove them... they came here as babies , and every one I've seen lately, are giant sized... this is the second time I've seen one here, in two days. they are apparently liking this giant Peace lily root, and moving here, from their subterranean world...

That is a great picture . Kuhlii Loaches are the most photogenic fish of all to me because of the places and situations they appear in . I love their comical little faces too .
I agree! I have 2 black and 3 striped kuhli loaches, and they are all a bit less shy and very laid back compared to all I have read about them. When I feed live BBS, they are so comfortable with my hand being in the tank (with or without the pipette), that they will come out of their cube or out from their opposite corner hidey plant and cave and Literally wrap their little mouths and whiskers around the end of the pipette to make sure they get lots of "yummies".
And those little faces 😍 🥰
