Ehiem Filter Classic

actually i am planning on a full blown low tech planted aquarium
I DID A FOUR DAY BLlack out, and it worked
my tank is clearing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :good:

Good to hear :good:

With 3.6WPG, you may find that too much light to get away with low-tech. I'd aim to cut that back to about 1-2 WPG. With CO2 and a basic fert mix, it should work OK, but with more than 2 WPG, you are getting into the light levels where both micro and macro nutrient dosing, along with the CO2 you plan, is needed to keep algea at bay :good:

All the best
Rabbut

its the 3.6WPG which is causing your algae
far too much light unless in a hightech (high CO2 high fert lots of fast growing plants) tank
go for less than 2wpg (even 1wpg is more than fine in a low tech tank) and you will see the algae problem vastly improve
