Eheim Filter Assembly

Hi there .I have recently obtained an Eheim pro 3 2071 canister filter, but unfortunately it did not come with instructions. Can anybody tell me the correct order for the 3 baskets and which basket contains the biological media and where do the coarse and fine filters go. Also is it best to put water intake and return pipes together at one end of tank or put one at each end. Many thanks in advance, greenbeemer

Don't matter about order really, Normally makes no difference but as I remember it. Sponges bottom, middle is media/bioballs and top more media/bioballs or filter floss. Also pipes at each end of the tank

If I recall....(and it's been some time since I opened my Eheim), the order is bio, fine filters, coarse filters.
 
Eheim recommend that the inlet and outlet go at the same end of the tank which is why they're so tight with the hose they supply.  I bought extra because my preference is always for inlet and outlet at the other end of the tank from each other.
 
It's also worth noting that there are modular spray bar kits available if you require further customisation.
