a tiny little java fern plant was $8 at the lfs... so i didnt get any..

the light in the tanks is pretty bright... i get algea from just the light in the hood... so i guess i need something that will tolerate the bright lights

If you can get it, I'd suggest trying some Hygrophila Polysperma.
