Dwarf Puffer Biotope..

I'm going to be planning my DP tank shortly and I want to set it up as an Indian river biotope to reflect their natural habitat. Can anyone give me a list of plants which are appropriate and from this area (preferably plants suitable for a low-tech set up) also any other ideas such as the type of wood, and any other features would be great. I have a rock-effect background in place already and I bought some black sand today. Thanks


Edit: If the Indian biotope is difficult, i'm happy to have a tank for endler's with a south american biotope. If you know which would be easiest then let me know. I definately want it to mirror the fish's natural habitat.

Thanks, thats helpful! Any ideas from anyone on plant varieties? I'd like mine to be slightly more planted.

If you go there and click on biotope then it should give you some ideas. I'm going for a densely planted crypt/java ferm/java moss tank.

Edit: remove the space, I had to put in the space to get around the filter...
