It's hard well water but the other gourami are fine and they've been in for a week longer. Ph is a little high at like 7.8. And yes i have baby bristlenose that are only 4 days old in a suspended net tank plecos were only added yesterday

Yes i've done countless hours of research to make my fish happy which they are all over the tank swimming hiding schooling playing bump and all sorts of stuff but today the one gourami isn't looking great still mobile and eating so idk maybe just got a little rough playing next to a decor rock or something. It looks like a scale or two is missing

Update went and talked with fish stores petsmart and a couple of people that are in the hobby also. One thing i did discover after posted is that the spot has wisps off of it. Anyways everyone said it was fungus and to treat accordingly with api or if can't afford or find use noniodized salt teaspoon per gallon. By the way no one asked about tank parameters i'm sure it helps to find the problem but is not always needed.

The most common cause of problems with fish is poor water conditions, which is why we always ask.

For salt, the instructions for its use are in post #2 in this thread

I think it is a combination of the ammonia level and the pH. 7.8 is too high for these guys they like soft acid water.

I did changes got the ph a little lower and gradually decreasing along with fungus treatment all i can do is wait i've done all i can for now. Thanks for the help i'm just bad at explaining things.
