I was a member of this forum for a looooong time, but left for a few years.

Here;s the situation

I'm getting a 125 gallon tank. My albino senegal bichir I have had for years is a must for this tank.

My write up right now is going to be

A: A family of clown loaches
B: A Black Ghost knife
C: Your suggestions!

Or if there are better suggestions to go in besides the clown loaches of knife, I'll take them!

All ideas welcome!

I failed to mention this will be a planted tank.

Are Channa Pluero compatible with a senegal, plants, clown loaches, and a black ghost knife?

I'm pleased and jealous for you!

I have Nelly's old 540l (5x2x2) sitting in my garage without electric points and I'm thinking more increasingly that setting it up down there before we move from our rented first floor maisonette (hence not wanting to add a ~650Kg strain) is not going to happen...

• The cost of setting up a semi-permanent feed
• Getting the landlord's permission
• Getting the permission of the landlords who own the maisonette under ours (as the cheapest way of wiring so far seems to be 2"x1" plank supported in suspension between our kitchen windown and garage window, but that will impeed on the downstairs window view)

Only other option until we move to a ground floor place is to beg my mother-in-law to let me setup the tank at her place, literally a stone's throw on the same current road, as she has electric in her garage!
