Well just for a couple of weeks

Going to get some sun on my old bones B) :yahoo:

Take care you lot and keep doing what you do best :good:

Our house and fish? Oh yes, the kids are moving back in to house sit and feed my fish   :(

That will be 16 days without a water change........any tips? (I've locked the beer/wine cellar!)

See ya

16 days is fine. I leave mine alone without any water change for 3weeks quite often. Just make sure the tank is really clean as close to your leaving time as possible (gravel vac, water change the day before). Hope you enjoy your trip

I panicked when I read that Doresy!!!
As long as you do a water change before you go, then your fish will be fine for 16 days.
Have a great holiday! ;)

Maybe a reduced feeding regime while your away to reduce the amount of waste produced would help :)

Enjoy your holiday!

Have a gooden mate!
Sure will thanks

I agree. Get the kids to feed only half as often as you normally do (they'll probably feed too much anyway, most tank-sitters do). It'll reduce the potential waste build up and the fish wont starve on a reduced diet for 16 days, they'll just look forward to you coming home!! :good:
