Does Anyone Know If This Fire Extinguisher...

After my recent disaster, I have no Co2, there is nobody willing to fill my co2 bottle, or sell me one.

So....I need to to see if my reg and solenoid has been damaged, so I've ordered two 2 Kg fire extinguisers (I'm really fed up typing that, so from now on I'm calling them co2 FE's).

One of them is local and so is expensive (refills £13 seem not too bad though), the other is from a link I got from Shrimply

but is it full when it arrives ?

well in canada it's a law that all fire extinguishers come filled with right pressure.

hows it being delivered because i *thought* that you couldnt send presurised cannasters in the post but then again i could have jsut made that rule up *shrugs*

I'll have to check.

I only wondered as the link was given on the forum, so I thought somebody had bought one.

Mmm... well I'd ask anyway as I don't think the advert is clear. Unless I read it incorrectly, there appeared to be two prices listed for a 2Kg FE, one was c.£20 and one was c.£40 - I'd assume the higher price was for a filled bottle which would have to be courier posted and the lower price was for an empty bottle.

Those are just my assumptions though

Pretty sure they'll come filled. The 2kg ones £20 but the 5kg is £40, worth the extra money. Goodness knows what you do with the cylinder once used up.

There is a local guy who does FE refills for £13.
However, he was meant to phone re a 2k one from him but I've heard nothing yet.
* That is he takes your FE away to somewhere else and brings it back filled*

I had an email from The Sharp Edge yesterday saying mine was despatched, but that hasn't arrived either

one further note:

It does arrive filled, but apparently not with Parcelforce.
I tracked from this morning, when it said out for delivery, to six o'clock.....when it said on it's way BACK to the hub !!

Phoned PF who said I'd have to call TSE..

Co2......breaks your heart every time.
