Does Any1 Know...

do you by any chance have an arcadia pod tank? the 20 litre or 35 litre tank? you could try a hair net
Hi It is a 100 liter tank. not sure of the make.

Have just googled them and yes looks exactly like that but bigger and with different lights.

Buy some E Channel from your local DIY store, cut two lengths and set them to the inside front and back of your tank (not permanently) then have 2 pcs of 4mm float glass cut to 5mm less than the width of your tank and 60mm more than half the length of your aquarium. Slip the glass into the slots in the channelling and voila you have a nice tidy sliding coverglass.

Many thanks for your help but im not sure my D.I.Y skills are up to that.
I just gonna go and get some mesh that i can cut to fit. Much better with a pair of scissors lol.

HERE mesh. You could buy several bits and cut and sew together to cover. Or you could cut strips that will close up the gaps and attach them under your glass still :D

Yup plastic canvas is what you need and I use scooby laces, you get all sorts of colours and are very strong.

Haylea what about sheets of acetate? It's less garish and you could tape a couple of bits together and put a couple of hole punches through. From a distance you wouldn't even know it was on there. TBH that's why I didn't keep my Arcadia because those gaps drove me nuts for worrying and the amount of water that evaporated was just annoying.

You know the overhead projectors used in schools? They write on a sheet of acetate, a clear (usually A4) sheet of flexible plastic. I could post you a couple of sheets??? Lemme look for it this morning and get back to you x
